Clear Braces

Wearing braces doesn’t have to be so obvious!

Ceramic brackets have proven to be amongst our most popular orthodontic treatments. These aesthetic braces are the clear alternative to metal braces. Unlike traditional metal braces, you won’t have to worry about showing a “train track” every time you smile.

An attractive translucent appearance and comfortable design gives you all the self-confidence you need to face each day with a smile. You’ll be noticed but your braces won’t.

The benefits

  • Quick results – compared to an invisible aligner like Invisalign braces, ceramic braces move your teeth faster. For example, Invisalign aligners can take up to 3 years to straighten your teeth, depending on the patient, whereas ceramic braces take between 18 to 36 months.

  • Greater variety of options – unlike traditional metal braces, with ceramic braces you can choose the colour you want.

  • This means you can choose tooth-coloured brackets, as opposed to metallic silver brackets and wires.

There are several types of Clear Ceramic Braces and once you meet our expert orthodontists, they’ll be able to advise on which option would be ideal for you.

FAQ’s

It’s recommended that you wear braces for 22 hours a day, leaving 2 hours for when you’re eating, brushing and flossing etc.

Ultimately, it depends on what treatment plan you’re after. There are benefits of Invisalign that don’t apply to Clear Ceramic Braces, and vice-versa. If you’re looking for clear braces that get the job done quickly, Ceramic Braces might be the best option for you.
