Fluoride Applications

Protecting teeth for healthier smiles!

This is a mineral that helps to keep your child’s teeth healthy, whilst preventing tooth decay. The fluoride is painted onto the surface of the child’s teeth and this helps to mineralise it. It’s a safe and effective way to safeguard your child’s teeth, and application is recommended at least twice a year – for children above the age of two.

Our exceptional Paediatric department are excited to welcome you and your child to Clarendons, where we endeavour to provide a luxury dental care experience!

The benefits

  • Removes bacteria – use of fluoride on teeth can help stunt the growth of harmful bacteria, which will lead to preventing cavities!
  • Helps to prevent tooth decay – this is achieved by strengthening the tooth to the point whereby it becomes more resistant to acid attacks that usually come from an increase in plaque.
  • Rebuild weakened enamel – In addition to cavities, bacteria will also produce acids that will demineralise your enamel. Fluoride helps to reverse this harmful process, by remineralising the enamel and keeping your teeth healthy.
